As part of the implementation of the "Polyteco science city" and "Own heat" projects, a solemn signing of the Protocol of Intentions on Cooperation between the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", the "Kyiv Polytechnic Science Park" corporation, "Island Management" LLC and "Technologies" LLC nature".

Both projects are promising not only for KPI, but also for all of Ukraine. The implementation of projects involves the construction of an entire scientific and industrial complex with a total area of 251,000 square meters on the territory of the university - the KPI Innovation City ("Polyteco science city" project). Its buildings will house a business incubator, venture capital funds, prototype laboratories, special premises for high-tech industries, lecture halls, office premises, a co-working center, a hotel, and catering establishments.

The creation of an innovative city of KPI will contribute to the development of knowledge-intensive technologies with the help of scientific and industrial areas of KPI, as well as international and domestic high-tech companies and investors. Its base will be used not only for research and design purposes, but also for teaching university students.
