On March 17, leading Ukrainian companies - DTEK, Nestlé, 1 + 1 media, Coca-Cola Beverages, Ukrtelecom, Ernst&Young, Bayer in Ukraine and others - signed the Ukrainian Pact for Youth 2020.
The main goal of the document is to actively support business in the employment of university graduates. The signatories undertook to hire 10,000 young professionals and create 100 partnerships between business and universities by 2020.
"This initiative will help offer young Ukrainians the opportunity to develop their knowledge and abilities for their own professional future and the future of our country. I am very grateful to the companies that agreed to become the first signatories of the Pact. I would like to thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports for immediately responding to this initiative and actively participating in the development of this Pact," said Maryna Saprykina, director of the Center for Development of Corporate Social Responsibility.
"Today we are signing the document. Which unites Ukrainian companies for the future of our young generation. This is a great initiative, in the context of which we provide jobs and educational training for young people on the basis of programs that already exist in our company," Ansgar Bornemann, director of the Nestle company in Ukraine and Moldova, emphasized during the signing.
