The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine sent a letter to the Kyiv City Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine regarding the mandate of the Prime Minister of Ukraine V. Groysman dated November 11, 2016 No. 40222/1/1-16.

Given the current situation in the country, in particular, the state of students of higher education institutions, the Ministry appealed to the heads of higher education institutions to help students living in student dormitories receive subsidies to reimburse the costs of paying for housing and communal services.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, within its competence, prepared a letter to the Chairmen of the Boards of Rectors, directors of higher educational institutions, in which they drew their attention to the following.

In order to settle the issue of the provision of information by higher educational institutions to the requests of the labor and social protection authorities regarding the provision of subsidies to university students and the implementation of clause 3 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 6, 2011 No. 774 "On improving the procedure for assigning and providing subsidies to the population for reimbursement expenses for payment of housing and communal services, purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid household fuel for stoves" issued by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Economy of Ukraine dated 20.09. .2011 No. 1077/357/197 "On the approval of the Procedure for the provision by higher educational institutions of state and communal forms of ownership to public social protection bodies of information on the cost of housing and communal services, for the payment of which persons living in student dormitories receive a subsidy."
