The Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education and Science between the Governments of Ukraine and Montenegro is being prepared for ratification in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This was discussed at the meeting of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Hrynevych with the Ambassador of the Republic of Montenegro Lubomyr Mishurovych.
"I think it is important for both parties that this Agreement be ratified as soon as possible. This document unlocks many issues regarding cooperation in the field of education, in particular, higher education. First of all, we are talking about strengthening academic mobility between countries, which will contribute to the internationalization of higher education in Ukraine and Montenegro," said Liliya Hrynevych.
Mr. Ljubomyr Mishurovych also reported that the process of agreeing the Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation, which should create the foundations for scientific cooperation between the countries, is ongoing.
"After we finally agree on the text, I would like to invite you to Montenegro to sign the Agreement. I think that such a visit will be positive not only for scientific and technological cooperation, but also for the spheres of secondary and higher education. We have two Ministers responsible for science and education, and we could arrange for you to meet with both of them at once. Establishing such ties should improve our cooperation and put it in a more productive direction," Ljubomyr Mishurovych suggested.
He also noted that at present the work of the Embassy is becoming more active and significantly more opportunities are opening up for the development of bilateral relations and the development of new directions for cooperation.
