On April 21, the All-Ukrainian meeting on the state and prospects for the development of preschool education was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the participation of Deputy Minister Pavlo Khobzei.

The meeting was attended by employees of the preschool education department of the general secondary and preschool education department of the Ministry of Education and Culture, head of the department Tamara Panasiuk; preschool education specialists of the departments of education and science of regional state administrations, representatives of the Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, publishing houses and the chairman of the board of the Association of Preschool Education Workers.

According to Pavel Hobzei, the Ministry of Education and Science is actively working on documents that will contribute to the creation of new types of kindergartens. "We support the creation of family-type preschool educational institutions, as well as corporate kindergartens," the Deputy Minister of Education and Science emphasized.

Also, according to Pavel Hobzei, primary and preschool education should be closely related. In particular, addressing the participants of the meeting, the deputy minister urged them to actively help primary school teachers. "Beginners face a difficult task, so preschool education specialists can share their experience with colleagues. It can be the experience of learning through the game, or the lack of homework and assessments in the 1st and 2nd grades," the deputy comments.

The head of the preschool education department, Tamara Panasiuk, informed the audience about the state of development of preschool education. She presented to the participants of the meeting statistical data on the dynamics of the birth of children, the network of preschool educational institutions, the number of places created in preschools, the queue for placement of children in preschool educational institutions, etc. Tamara Panasiuk also noted that the main task is to provide high-quality preschool education in every kindergarten.

Tetyana Nosachova, head of the sector of the preschool development department of the Institute for Modernization of the Education Content of the Ministry of Education and Culture, informed about the programmatic and methodological support of preschool education.

Iryna Sidanich, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Educational Institution Management and Pedagogy of the Higher School of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Management and Psychology of the state higher educational institution "University of Education Management", presented a new partial program on the spiritual and moral education of older preschool children.

At the end of the meeting, all participants had the opportunity to visit the traditional spring tulip exhibition at the Singing Field in Kyiv with the assistance of the NGO "Association of Preschool Education Workers" and the NGO "Healthy Humanity".
