From now on, in schools throughout Ukraine, there will be no contests for future first-graders upon admission to 1st grades. Your families can exercise their right to choose a school without any restrictions. The state guarantees every future first-grader the right to priority enrollment in the school based on his place of residence.
At the same time, you can use the right of personal choice by choosing any other school for enrollment in vacant places.
To do this, you must provide the school with a statement from one of the parents or persons who replace them, a copy of the birth certificate and the child's medical certificate.
We draw your attention to the fact that you no longer need to receive an additional certificate of registration, as the data about your child is already in the territorially guaranteed school, provided by the registry of the Kyiv city community.
Families of first-graders who have the status of temporarily displaced persons add an extract from the certificate of vocational training registration to the package of documents listed above to confirm their place of residence.
All other parents who want to use the right to choose a school outside the service area, from June 1 to June 15, 2018, submit the specified documents to the chosen institution, and if there are free places, the child will be enrolled!
