Regarding the salary increase for teachers, - the Government

Teachers' salaries will be increased this year or next year, the Cabinet of Ministers is working on this decision.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a briefing during a working trip to Kherson, Ukrinform reports.

"With regard to teachers' salaries, we are working on the opportunities we have today, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education are working to increase, if not this year, then the next. We have such plans," the prime minister said.

He also added that teachers should be properly evaluated by the state for their hard and difficult work, especially in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
