The presentation of the "Marshall Education Plan" by the leader of the band "Ocean Elsa" Sviatoslav Vakarchuk took place in Washington.

The main idea of the presented "Marshall Education Plan" is to educate a generation of Ukrainians with a Western way of thinking.

"Ukrainian education provides a good theoretical base, but it does not explain how to implement the acquired knowledge in the most effective way," he noted.

Also, he emphasized the existing educational achievements of Ukraine, which were achieved during the years of independence, and noted that the country already has good specialists, good doctors, scientists, rocket builders, but all these people have a different way of thinking, with a 70-year legacy of Soviet rule .

"In Ukraine, the teacher is always right, you are not encouraged to doubt his statements. In other words, you are taught that whoever is higher is right. And in the end, insecure people grow up," noted Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.

According to him, it is not necessary to teach facts at school, but to help in determining one's vocation, one's competitive advantage. Vakarchuk is convinced that education is a strategy to save Ukraine.
