In the coming days, the presentation of the Second Stage of the project on testing graduates of Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv in English by the Examination Department of Cambridge University will take place.
This event will be held on May 21, 2015 in the building of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine at 2:30 p.m.
The participants of the event will be the director of the department of general secondary and preschool education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine Yuriy Kononenko, the head of the evaluation department in Northern Europe of the University of Cambridge Gillian Horton-Kruger, the director of marketing in Northern Europe of the University of Cambridge Arkadiusz Yavorskyi and a consultant in Ukraine Daryna Sizhuk.
On April 15, 2015, an English language test was held in which about 500 eleventh-grade students from Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Lviv took part.
The event was organized by the Examination Department of the University of Cambridge and the Department of General Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of authorized Cambridge English examination centers in Ukraine. The works of the test participants were sent for verification to Cambridge University, where experts assessed the level of knowledge of the English language among Ukrainian youth.
