In accordance with numerous appeals from public organizations, parents and students, changes were made to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated September 16, 2015 No. 940 "On conducting state final certification of students (students) in the system of general secondary education in the 2015/2016 academic year".
Changes have taken place in point 3 of the order, therefore the period of state final certification of graduates of general educational institutions of the III degree will be from May 5 to 30, 2016 for three subjects.
The list of subjects for which the state final certification of graduates of general education institutions of the III degree is conducted in the 2015/2016 academic year:
– Ukrainian language – in the form of an external examination;
- Foreign language - in educational institutions;
– Mathematics or History (optional) – at the educational institution.
Note that in the new year, foreign language testing will be conducted in a new format. The new foreign language test will include three types of speech activities, namely reading, writing and listening. In 2017, the state final certification will be fully combined with external independent evaluation.
In addition, graduates of general educational institutions for which the external language examination is mandatory for admission to higher educational institutions, as in previous years, can take this test if they wish.
