Yesterday, on August 19, the first meeting of the newly elected Public Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine took place, in which 77 (out of 101) representatives of civil society institutions - members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education and Culture took part.

At the first meeting, the draft Regulations and Regulations on the Public Council, organizational structure were approved.

Also, the Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, namely the vice-president of the "Europe-XXI" Foundation, Halyna Usatenko, was elected. In turn, the executive director of the All-Ukrainian public organization "Association of Graduates of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" Yevhen Kudryavtsev was elected as her deputy.

Yana Myronchuk, a member of the Kyiv city branch of the All-Ukrainian youth public organization "Youth of the Democratic Alliance", was elected as the responsible secretary.

The next meeting of the Public Council under the MES is scheduled for September 30, 2014.
