Experts in the field of education announced the TOP educational events of 2013
At the press conference, the TOP-10 positive and negative events in the education of Ukraine for the past year 2013 were announced.
In the first place in the "positive rating" was the manifestation of the civic position of Ukrainian students. The next stage of the rating was the start of work on the preparation of a new version of the Law of Ukraine on Education, preservation of the system of external independent assessment of educational achievements upon admission to higher education institutions.
The following events took the following positions in the so-called "positive rating": submission to the Verkhovna Rada of the draft law on higher education edited by academician Zgurovsky's group; the start of the first free online courses in the CIS on the basis of KNU named after Shevchenko; implementation of a joint pilot project of the "System capital management" group of employers and the Ministry of Education and Culture on the modernization of professional standards; the beginning of compulsory study of a second foreign language in the 5th grade; the results of the participation of Ukrainian students in the international comparative study "Timss-2011"; the successful performance of schoolchildren and students at the world subject Olympiads, as well as the breakthrough of Internetization of Ukraine.
