The text of the new Law "On Education" is fully ready for consideration in the second reading. This was said by the Minister of Education Lilia Hrynevych during a meeting with the Ambassador of Romania to Ukraine Christian-Leon Tsurkan.

"According to my information, the new Law "On Education" should be voted in the parliament before Teacher's Day - the professional holiday of our teachers. It was supposed to be considered earlier - in the last week of the previous session, but the deputies did not have enough time. More than a thousand amendments were submitted by deputies to the second reading, but they were fully worked out, and an agreement was reached on them," said Hrynevych.

The Ministry of Education notes that the Law "On Education" is basic in the legislative provision of education. Its adoption will unlock the renewal of the laws "On secondary education" and "On vocational education", as well as the creation of the law "On the national system of qualifications".
