On the eve of Lawyer's Day, in the period from September 29 to October 3 this year, the Ministry of Justice will hold the planned All-Ukrainian week of legal knowledge "Combating corruption in the judicial system".
Thematic activities included in the program of the All-Ukrainian Week of Legal Knowledge are aimed at increasing the level of legal awareness of citizens regarding the fight against corruption in the judicial system.
It is assumed that during this period, lectures will be held in higher educational institutions on the role and motivation of anti-corruption behavior of citizens in relations with the courts; provision of free primary legal assistance to the population on issues that may be related to corruption; organization in the mass media regarding clarification of the procedure of actions of citizens in cases of extortion of undue benefit from them, etc.
It is also planned to hold a wide public and expert discussion on problematic issues of the functioning of the judicial system and judicial reform.
