The Ukrainian Center for Evaluation of the Quality of Education continues to accept applications from public organizations, whose representatives will be part of the expert commission. It will set pass/fail thresholds for all subjects of external independent assessment in 2019.
The proposal will be of interest to organizations whose activities are related to the functioning of the Ukrainian education system. Representatives of unions of managers or employees of institutions of higher, professional and general secondary education can apply for the competition. In addition, members of parents' or students' associations can join the commission.
The decision regarding the inclusion of applicants in the composition of the commission will be made on the basis of balancing the interests of various groups of the educational community and other interested parties. The final composition of the commission is planned to be approved by May 20.
Note:
Taking into account the "passed/failed" threshold, the results of the external examination are determined on a scale of 100-200 points (rated grades). Thus, participants whose test score is lower than the “passed/failed” threshold receive the result of an external independent assessment of “failed”. The minimum rating score of "100 points" corresponds to the value of the threshold score "passed/failed".
The meeting of the expert commission on setting the "passed/failed" threshold will take place approximately between June 10 and 24 (three meetings). The remuneration of the members of the expert commission is carried out in accordance with the Scheme of remuneration (the position of "a person who participates in the work of collegial working bodies of Ukrainian and regional centers").
