After the adoption of a new educational law in Ukraine next year, professional development will be mandatory for all first grade teachers. This was said by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Liliya Hrynevych, at a conference on Thursday, UNN reports.
"We adopted a new law on education. The new law, first of all, has several pillars," the minister reminded.
The first of them she called the greater pedagogical freedom of the teacher provided for by the law.
"In order for a teacher to be able to offer his own approaches to teaching, he must have a very good grasp of how a typical educational program can be created. Therefore, for the first grades, I want to inform all of you, all teachers who will take the first grade next year - all must undergo advanced training," said L. Hrynevych.
She informed that teachers will be informed about the method and place of these events in the education department.
