This year, "Crimea-Ukraine" educational centers will operate on the basis of 35 universities in different regions of Ukraine - in Dnipro, Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, as well as Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions. Through these centers, applicants from Crimea can enter the higher education institutions of mainland Ukraine according to a simplified procedure - without taking an external examination.
As last year, entrants from the annexed peninsula will be given quotas for state-ordered places.
"In 2016, according to budget quotas, one and a half thousand places were provided, in 2017 - already 2,600. In the current year, this number should not be less, and only the terms of operation of educational centers (from June 4 to September 28), the terms of submitting documents and enrollment in studies," said Svitlana Kretovych, head of the displaced higher education sector of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
In order to enroll under the guaranteed quota for the budget, applicants must apply to one of these centers, fill out an educational declaration (about subjects previously studied) and pass two exams (on the Ukrainian language and history of Ukraine) in the form of a DPA and one in a professional direction.
Through educational centers "Crimea-Ukraine" you can enter the higher education institutions based on which they operate. You can view them at the link.
If the applicant wishes to study in any other higher education institution of Ukraine, he can also apply according to the general procedure. To do this, you should obtain general secondary education externally in one of the schools of mainland Ukraine. Upon completion, get a certificate. Then take the external examination during the main session (registration took place from February 6 to March 19, 2018) or the additional session (registration for it will last from May 3 to 21, 2018).
