The Ministry of Education and Science appealed to regional state administrations and heads of educational institutions with a request to prevent political agitation in educational institutions.

The relevant letter was signed by the acting Minister of Education, Serhiy Shkarlet.

The Ministry of Education and Science notes that the department receives information on the involvement of participants in the educational process in the actions and events of individual political parties and the spread of party and election campaigning in educational institutions.

In connection with that, the Ministry of Education and Culture emphasizes that it is prohibited to store, place, and distribute advertisements, posters, gifts, stands, and leaflets that contain the names or symbols of political parties in educational institutions; images, surnames, names of persons who are members or founders of political parties, public or charitable organizations, etc.

"We ask you to take into account the content of this letter regarding the prevention of improper use of the premises of educational institutions for political campaigning," the Ministry of Education and Science emphasized.
