Every tenth Ukrainian receives additional education or improves his qualifications. Such data was published by the company Research & Branding Group. Another 17% Ukrainians expressed a desire to receive additional education.
Residents of cities, villages and other settlements have approximately the same attitude to obtaining additional education. However, women rate the quality of Ukrainian education a little better than men, the company's analyst Oleksiy Lyashenko said. He noted that young people are most enthusiastic about the prospect of getting an education in Ukraine - 54%-55%.
Residents of regional centers and villages have a better attitude to the quality of Ukrainian education than residents of cities that are not regional centers, the expert added. Among residents of regional centers and villages, there are 10% more of them than among residents of smaller cities.
10% Ukrainians have already received or are obtaining additional higher education or advanced training. Such a study was conducted by the company Research & Branding Group. The percentage of men and women who have received or are receiving higher education is almost the same - 9% and 11%, respectively.
People under the age of 40 are more likely to receive additional education. Among people who are older than 60, only 6% of those who receive additional education. People under 30 who want to improve their level of education - their 34%. At the same time, among young people, there are 2% of those who do not want to get additional higher education.
More than two-thirds of Ukrainians, namely 68%, have no desire to improve their qualifications or obtain additional education. Almost half of Ukrainians - 46% believe that it is possible to get a good higher education in Ukraine. Only 14% respondents are sure that this is impossible in Ukraine.
Research & Branding Group's study lasted from May 19 to 29 this year. More than 1,800 respondents from all over Ukraine, except the occupied territories, took part in it. The survey method is a personal formalized interview. The maximum sampling error does not exceed 2.4%.
