The day before, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine adopted the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On documents on higher education (degrees) of the state model."
According to the new Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" there was:
- the Ministry of Education and Science was instructed to approve, within a month, forms of documents on higher education (scientific degrees) of the state model, annexes to them, and samples of academic certificates;
- the List of information that must be contained in documents on higher education (degrees) of the state model was approved;
- the maximum cost of producing a document on higher education of the state model is set at 34 hryvnias;
It should be noted that in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education", higher educational institutions independently decide how to produce and issue documents on higher education.
Therefore, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine determines the amount of information to be included in the document, the Ministry of Education and Science approves the form of the document and the interaction of higher educational institutions with EDEBO, and the design, method and place of production are determined by higher educational institutions independently.
