The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine denies the information that was stated in the interview of the Deputy Chief of the Main Investigative Department, Head of the Department of Special Investigations of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine S. V. Horbatyuk.
"...But there is no help from the Ministry of Education, which could identify exactly where the biggest violations were, in particular when spending public funds, conduct an internal audit and investigation, and provide information. We write requests to the Ministry of Education, and they reply that there are no violations," said S. V. Horbatyuk.
The argument in refuting this information is the case that happened on November 6, 2014, when the investigator in particularly important cases of the GPU, lawyer of the 1st class O.I. Alyokhin, drew up a protocol of temporary access to things, and also recorded the fact that 32 documents out of 185 were seized from the Ministry sheets
The seized documents can serve as evidence in frauds related to Dmytro Tabachnyk's property issues (namely: issues of lease and privatization of certain real estate objects).
Therefore, according to the information of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the documents necessary for the investigation were provided to the representatives of the GPU in November 2014, within the specified period and without delay. In turn, there were no comments from the investigator to the Ministry of Education and Culture or its employees.
