The Ministry of Education and Science has developed a new state standard for professional (vocational and technical) education.

The draft document has been published for public discussion, which will last until October 30.

The purpose of the adoption of the standard is to determine the requirements for mandatory key and professional competencies and learning outcomes of students of professional (vocational and technical) education of the appropriate level.

The new standard is based on a competency-based approach, which provides for the formation of key and professional competencies in the learner.

It is planned that the document will become the basis for the development of professional education standards for specific professions included in the National Classifier of Ukraine.
