According to MES letter No. 1/9-418 dated 02.09.2016 higher educational institutions can renew students from Donetsk and Luhansk regions on the basis of the latest relevant (before the occupation) information available in the EDEBO.
We note that renewal is allowed only for the course for which there is data in EDEB. However, the head of the higher educational institution has the right to organize an additional session for the purpose of liquidating academic debts and transferring the student to the course following renewal.
Therefore, taking into account the Regulation on the procedure for transferring, expelling and renewing students of higher educational institutions, the head of the higher educational institution, regardless of the duration of the break in education, the reason for exclusion, work experience, form of education.
