The Ministry of Education and Science has developed instructional and methodological recommendations regarding the organization of activities of preschool education institutions in the 2020/2021 academic year.
For the work of kindergartens in the 2020/2021 academic year, actions must be planned to encourage all participants in the educational process to observe hygienic skills and social distance indoors.
Decisions regarding the resumption of activities and functioning of health centers are made by regional commissions on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations, which depends on morbidity statistics in the region. Under a favorable situation in the region, kindergartens work as usual, creating the safest possible conditions for pupils and employees. The founders and heads of institutions are responsible for creating such conditions.
According to the Law of Ukraine "On Education" all educational institutions are given autonomy in the organization of the educational process, based on previous experience, analysis of the results of their work in the last academic year and all available recommendations.
It was emphasized that when organizing educational activities, educators should pay attention to the fact that the activity approach is the basis for achieving the development goals of children of different ages, it should be applied so that it is natural and organic to their needs and interests.
Along with traditional forms of working with parents or legal representatives of the child (surveys, interviews, consultations, meetings of the parents' committee, competitions, etc.), innovative ones can be used, namely: "Bookcrossing", "Tree of goals" or "Tree of group development" and "Parent box", as well as implement remote forms of communication.
A necessary condition for working with children with special educational needs, in addition to correctional and developmental services and psychological-pedagogical support, is the creation of a universal design and intelligent adaptation of buildings, premises and outbuildings, including the creation of a resource room.
The implementation of remote forms of communication with parents on online platforms and the use of mobile applications is also acceptable for kindergartens. The duration and frequency of the teacher's work with the child at the computer and gadgets according to the child's age and characteristics are clearly indicated.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, the improvement of the qualifications of pedagogical workers in various forms and types remains an integral part of the work of the ZDO.
MES in 2020/2021 will continue work on coordinating the activities of preschool education institutions in the conditions of quarantine measures caused by COVID-19.
