Foreign citizens choose higher education institutions of Ukraine because they are satisfied with the quality and cost of education.
This was reported by the Ministry of Education with reference to the results of a marketing research on the attractiveness of Ukrainian higher education for foreigners.
Foreign students from all over Ukraine took part in the study, which was conducted in July-August this year.
In particular, 43.5% respondents answered that they chose Ukrainian universities because they were satisfied with the quality of education.
Also, the reason for choosing to study in Ukraine for 40-60% respondents was the cost of education.
In addition, 351 TP3T respondents chose Ukrainian education because of the ease of recognition of the diploma in their homeland, and 421 TP3T - because of the desire to study in one of the European countries.
According to Deputy Minister of Education Andrii Vitrenka, the role of foreign students is very important in the educational process of every educational institution.
"After all, this is not only prestige and investment in the country's economy, but also the exchange of experience, the development of competitive personalities, etc. That's why we have to fight for a good reputation: to ensure high quality of education and create comfortable conditions for the arrival, study and leisure of foreign students," Andriy Vitrenko noted.
