On September 1, Ukrainian schoolchildren will go to school, but it may be necessary to limit the simultaneous presence of children in classes.
Chief sanitary doctor Viktor Lyashko said this in an interview with BBC News Ukraine.
"They will go. But how is the question we are discussing with the new acting president. Minister of Education. There are several options. It may be necessary to limit the simultaneous presence of children in classes. We are considering options that, for example, mathematics will be in the classroom, and history will be taught remotely," Lyashko said.
According to him, it is also possible to have children in shifts.
"I think that we will develop these models. It is almost impossible to predict the epidemic situation for September. We are also preparing for the worst scenarios, for distance education, for intermediate options and for the complete return of children to school," said the chief sanitary doctor.
