The National Security and Defense Council admits that most schools can switch to distance learning in the fall.
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, said this during a meeting in the President's Office, which was dedicated to the increase in the incidence of the coronavirus.
In particular, Danilov stated that "there is a possibility that in the fall most Ukrainian schools will have to switch to distance learning, so the appropriate technical capabilities should be prepared already today."
In addition, the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov reported that over the past month the situation in the country has significantly worsened: if at the end of May there were 300-400 laboratory-confirmed cases of infection per day, now it is 900-1000, the number of those who have tripled hospitalized
According to the Minister of Health, the main reason for this state of affairs is the disregard for quarantine rules. In particular, overtime transportation of people in public transport, neglect of personal protective equipment, failure to observe social distance.
