Today, on the International Chernobyl Remembrance Day, we want to bring our boundless gratitude and respect to all the heroes of the liquidation of the consequences. All liquidators showed great heroism, dedication and courage in those extreme circumstances.

We bow low to all liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, who, without sacrificing their health and life, worked in the 30-kilometer zone of the radiation disaster in order to eliminate the consequences of the Chernobyl tragedy as quickly as possible, limit the disaster and protect other people. We bow our heads to your devotion, courage and patriotism. The courage and sacrifice with which you saved the world inspires future generations and is an example of how to respect and protect your people.

The people who gave their lives during the liquidation, saving not only Ukraine, but also the whole of Europe from the disaster, will not be forgotten and will forever remain in the hearts of all people without exception.
