The Committee on Science and Education of the Verkhovna Rada is collecting informational and analytical materials and proposals for recommendations for parliamentary hearings, during which the problems of financing education and science in Ukraine will be discussed. This was reported by the press service of the specialized parliamentary committee.

The committee notes that the parliamentary hearings "On the state and problems of financing education and science in Ukraine" will be held in accordance with Verkhovna Rada resolution No. 1484-VIII.

"Parliamentary hearings are held with the aim of discussing the state and problems of financing education and science in the state, introducing new approaches to financing this area, finding specific ways to increase their role in society, influencing the competitiveness of the domestic economy in the context of implementing the provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU ", the Committee on Science and Education reported.

The hearing will be held on November 16, 2016.

Analytical materials for the materials of the parliamentary hearings will be accepted by the committee until October 24, 2016. The specified materials can be sent in printed form to the address of the committee, and the electronic version to the following addresses: semenyuk-sv@rada.gov.ua, levchuk-o@v.rada.gov.ua.
