Yesterday, May 21, 2015, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Kvit met with the Deputy State Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Relations Richard Stengel and the US Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey R. Payette.

The purpose of the discussion was to solve the problems that arose in Ukraine as a result of the hybrid war.

According to Richard Stengel, already next academic year, the USA aims to significantly increase the number of scholarships for Ukrainians within the framework of the FLEX and Fullbright programs.

Also, if necessary, the United States can help Ukraine restore universities evacuated from the occupied territories.

In turn, Serhiy Kvit expressed his deep gratitude to the American delegation and assured that the support of Ukrainian students and the scientific and teaching community is a significant investment in the future of our country.
