The initiative group of representatives of student self-government of a number of higher educational institutions addressed a collective letter to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Kvit with the proposal to give the student self-government community the opportunity to elect two members to the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education. Candidates from the student community will be nominated at the First All-Ukrainian Congress of Student Self-Government Bodies, which will take place soon.

The authors of the collective letter to the minister emphasized in their appeal that the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" enshrines the right of student self-government bodies to be represented in the National Agency, which ensures the development of the national system of higher education, guarantees its quality, improves management and international recognition.
