For five days, Serhii Kvit was on a working visit to the United States of America, which was organized by the American non-governmental organization CRDF Global. The CRDF Global company is one of the most powerful promoters of Ukraine in the USA, which significantly contributes to the development of scientific research in Ukraine.
Having visited several scientific institutions of the USA, the Minister took part in conferences and discussions. In particular, at Stanford University (California), Serhiy Kvit, doctor of philological sciences and doctor of philosophy (PhD), gave a lecture on "Reforming Ukraine's Universities during Crisis".
Also, the minister held a discussion on the topic "Ukraine: Between Russia and the European Union". The listeners were members of the World Affairs Council of Northern California.
The main event for the Minister was his speech at the world's largest and most influential annual conference of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (American Association for the Advancement of Science). The topic of Serhii Kvit's report was: "How Reforming Higher Education in Ukraine will Benefit Science."
The international scientific community and journalists of the United States of America learned from the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine about the situation in Ukraine, which today defends its independence in the undeclared Russian-Ukrainian war.
Serhii Kvit visited the headquarters of Intel and Berkeley University, and also met with the Ukrainian community and held talks on the development of Ukrainian studies in the United States.
