Less than a month is left until the end of accepting applications for participation in the International Championship of Computer Talents "Golden Byte-2015", in which talented young people from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Estonia participate. Taking part in the championship, the participants will get a chance to implement their ideas and prove themselves among the representatives of the largest IT companies in the world. The prize fund of the Championship is half a million hryvnias.
"Golden Byte-2015" invites everyone who is interested in computer technologies and design to take part in the Championship and prove that their ideas are worthy of the highest awards. Dmytro Korchevskyi, general director of the Computer Academy SHAG and initiator of the "Golden Byte" Championship: "The IT market of Ukraine needs such championships. This gives talented students an opportunity to prove themselves and make IT companies pay attention to them. After all, it is challenges that give us the opportunity to understand who we really are. And there is nothing better than accepting a challenge and winning."
In order to become a participant of the Championship, it is necessary to register online and submit your project by February 21, 2015. The international final of "Golden Byte-2015" will be held in April 2015 in Kyiv. The general partners of the Golden Byte Championship are leading IT companies: Microsoft, InterSystems, Dell, Intel, Wolf Printing, Stearling Studio and others. This year, a new nomination from Microsoft is presented - Best in Cloud. Participation in this nomination requires work with the Microsoft Azure service.
Nominations of the Championship: – Startup Challenge (competition of software projects); – Networking Technologies (nomination for system administrators); – Mobile Development (competition of mobile applications); – Game Design (game creation competition); – Character Design (competition to create game characters); – Web Design (competition of web projects); – Short Movie (competition of short films); – NoSQL Expert (application competition for working with databases); – Best in Cloud (competition of projects using the Microsoft Azure service); – Junior Competition (competition for children 10-14 years old).
