The day before, to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine O.V. Turchynova addressed the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine regarding the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014" developed by the government and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for consideration.

This appeal is due to the fact that some of the provisions significantly narrow the labor rights of pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical, other employees of educational institutions and educational institutions, as well as employees of health care, culture, and social spheres.

"We believe that the specified draft law in terms of limiting the rights and guarantees of public sector employees, including educators, is anti-social, aimed at significantly lowering the standard of living of all public sector employees," the letter of the Central Committee of the Trade Union states.

In accordance with the requirements stated in the letter, the Trade Union requests to withdraw from consideration the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014", registration No. 4308а for its finalization with the aim of canceling the norms that restrict the labor rights of employees of budget institutions, among which educators

Similar letters with the demands of the Trade Union were sent to the Prime Minister of Ukraine AP Yatsenyuk and the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Science and Education of Ukraine.
