Also, Pavlo Polyansky talked about the Ministry's plans regarding school textbooks. From now on, the Ministry will have no influence on the choice of textbooks, because experts will handle it. It should be noted that the previous ban on the use of textbooks and manuals that were printed before 2012 was lifted. Therefore, from now on, the choice of educational materials will be the responsibility of teachers. In general, the Ministry of Education seeks demonopolization, decentralization of work and abolition of the bureaucratic system.
"Now is the time to work on a new pro-European law on education. Ukrainians must be competitive in the world. Today, there are all the conditions for this: a request for changes from the state and a foundation for the development of the education system," emphasized Liliya Hrynevych.
