A new sanitary regulation for general secondary education institutions will apply in Ukraine.
The relevant document was approved by the Ministry of Health.
The regulation defines the medical safety requirements for the educational environment in all types of schools.
The requirements of this Sanitary Regulation must be taken into account when arranging and equipping the premises of educational institutions.
The new sanitary regulations contain requirements for the organization of the educational process, requirements for the organization of work with technical teaching aids and requirements for educational facilities, in particular, classrooms, computer science rooms, physical education halls and swimming pools, auxiliary and ancillary facilities, sanitary units, etc.
In addition, the regulation defines the norms of the air and thermal regime in the school, lighting of the premises, noise and vibration levels.
The document also defines norms for the organization of food and medical care in schools.
The new sanitary regulations will come into effect on January 1, 2021.
