On April 6, the "All-Ukrainian School Online" project, designed for students from the fifth to the eleventh grade, will begin in Ukraine.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi in his address regarding the situation with the fight against the coronavirus.
According to the President, within the framework of the project, 40 teachers from Kyiv will become teachers for the whole of Ukraine during the quarantine.
"Our task as a state is to ensure free access to knowledge for every child. For this purpose, on Monday, April 6, the project "All-Ukrainian School Online" will be launched. As part of the project, 40 teachers from Kyiv will become teachers for the whole of Ukraine during the quarantine. Currently, daily filming of lessons for students from the fifth to the eleventh grade is taking place. According to the balanced program of the Ministry of Education and Science, 11 subjects are taught," said Zelenskyi.
Students will be able to study remotely on Facebook and YouTube. The lessons will also be broadcast every morning by Ukrainian TV channels, which gladly joined this important mission.
One or more TV channels will be assigned to each class. Their list, as well as the weekly lesson schedule, will appear very soon.
"We call on parents to monitor the news and encourage their children to watch. Actually, the whole family can join this educational content. And that's why we stay at home. We study at home," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
