The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine left all the norms of the Law "On Education" unchanged. This became known after the adoption by the deputies of the Law "On Amendments and Recognition of Some Legislative Acts of Ukraine as Having Lost their Validity" (No. 1577).
All norms regarding admission to educational institutions outside the competition are preserved. Orphans, disabled children, children deprived of parental care, as well as children from low-income families will continue to be provided with free meals in vocational schools, orphans, disabled children, children deprived of parental care, as well as children from low-income families.
The head of the Government, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, emphasized that this law is "not the radical changes that we could implement, but it is at least the first step": "It will give an opportunity to move in the issue of optimizing benefits."
