On April 15, Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko introduced the Minister of Education and Science Lilia Hrynevych to the staff of the Ministry of Education and Science.
During the event, Kyrylenko emphasized the importance of the tasks performed by the Ministry of Education and Science and emphasized the importance of preserving and developing the vector of educational reforms, in particular, the entry of the Ukrainian education system into the European educational space.
Liliya Hrynevych noted that over the previous two years, the Ministry of Education, together with the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education, had made a significant number of positive changes in the education sector.
"The process of higher education reform continues. The Ministry has prepared a large productive legal framework. Currently, a package of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" is being prepared, the implementation of the draft law "On Education" is also an important issue, the minister noted.
Hrynevych thanked the team of the ministry and Serhii Kvit for their fruitful work. The minister emphasized that today one of the main tasks of the department is the completion of the school year. According to her, the ministry must fulfill its mission to ensure that education documents are issued on time in every educational institution and that external independent evaluation takes place.
"The directions of educational reforms determined by the developed legislative acts remain strategically verified, and we will continue to work on their implementation as a single team," Liliya Hrynevych stressed.
