A landmark event for the country's IT industry - IT Jam "Meet & Mix!" was held for the 7th time at the main arena of Ukraine NSC "Olympiyskyi". This year, the event was dedicated to innovation and IT education.

Now more and more young professionals want to build a career in the IT field, which helps the country integrate into the world community and develop the economy, without requiring large investments. In Ukraine, more than 15,000 IT specialists graduate annually, and our programmers are considered among the best professionals in the world. Today, Ukraine is one of the top countries for outsourcing IT services, and every year there are more and more independent educational initiatives that help to make the right choice in the career of the future.

As part of the IT Jam "Meet & Mix!" educational lectures, 18 speakers from 6 countries shared their experience and talked about software development projects in information security, medicine, energy, cryptography, eye-tracking systems, automotive, etc.

During the IT Jam, the first IT Education Awards 2015 were presented, which is aimed at encouraging those who invest their energy and time in the development of IT professionals. During the event, there was also a Study Fair, where you could learn more about educational initiatives, and the winners in each of the 22 nominations were announced at the award ceremony.

Even very young guests attended the event. For them, as part of the event, an Hour of Code programming lesson was held, which in a playful way helps to learn the basics of coding regardless of age and abilities.
