Today, the entire territory of Ukraine is at a green level of epidemic danger, so the Ministry of Health is considering the possibility of easing quarantine restrictions.

This was stated by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko during the government meeting.

According to him, the current epidemic situation in Ukraine allows us to say that the entire country meets the indicators of the green level of epidemic danger.

"But I emphasize that despite the improvement of the epidemic situation, we should not forget that COVID-19 has not been overcome, none of the European countries, in which the situation with morbidity and vaccination has improved, has completely canceled restrictive measures," the minister noted.

Currently, in Ukraine, the incidence rate is 74 cases per 100,000 population, with a defined green rate of 75 per 100,000. In 16 regions, this indicator is significantly lower than the specified one.

The lowest incidence rate is observed in the Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia and Kirovohrad regions.

At the same time, Viktor Lyashko emphasized that the best protection against COVID-19 is vaccination.

"Already now, everyone who wants to, in particular through the "Diya" application, can get vaccinated in mass vaccination centers, which are becoming more and more numerous," the Minister of Health added.
