The new school year for most students will start traditionally and children will go to school on September 1.
About this, while on a working visit to the Chernihiv region, said Acting Minister of Education and Science Serhii Shkarlet.
"Together with the Ministry of Health, we monitor the epidemiological situation in each region and develop possible scenarios. Appropriate algorithms will be implemented in the near future, about which the Ministry of Education and Culture will provide detailed explanations. It is also not excluded that the educational process may take place in a mixed form," Shkarlet noted.
The academic year in Ukraine will begin according to one of three scenarios. Decisions regarding the selection of the scenario under which the training will take place will be determined by regional commissions on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations, depending on the specifics of the epidemiological situation in a specific region.
It is planned that with a low level of morbidity, visits to educational institutions will be allowed as usual.
If a high level of morbidity is recorded in the region, then the educational process will be provided remotely.
At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Science leans towards the third and most probable scenario with an average level of morbidity. Under this scenario of the development of the pandemic, the educational process will be provided both remotely and in educational institutions.
