The Verkhovna Rada will make every effort to ensure that teachers receive not only recognition and respect from society, but also a salary increase.

Speaker of the Parliament Dmytro Razumkov said this during the award ceremony of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to teachers.

According to him, with the arrival of September 1, teachers have joined those who are on the front lines in the fight against the coronavirus.

"I would like to thank everyone as the speaker of the parliament, a people's deputy, and, above all, as a father. I understand that sometimes it is not easy to work with our children, so I want to wish that your work is always appreciated and you always feel respected," said Razumkov.

He also emphasized that it is the teachers who instill in the new generation the values that shape their personality.

"Children are our future, and it depends on your work," Dmytro Razumkov emphasized.
