An electronic register will be launched in Ukraine, with the help of which employers will be able to publicly check the authenticity of documents on the availability of qualifications of employees.
This was reported by the National Qualifications Agency.
Also, the resource will become an information platform for future qualification centers that will award qualifications based on self-education.
Qualification centers will assess the learning outcomes that a person has obtained through non-formal learning or non-formal education, assign professional qualifications and recognize professional qualifications obtained in other countries.
According to the head of the National Agency for Qualifications, Yuri Balaniuk, at the first stage, the register will contain information about accredited qualification centers, documents confirming the assignment of qualifications to a specific person, a list of professional standards, applications for their development, information about experts in accreditation of qualification centers and information about qualifications.
"HR departments will no longer need to search for information on the list of qualifications, the required competencies of employees or the existence of a professional standard in various resources, usually paper ones. All this will be available on a single resource," Balaniuk noted.
He also emphasizes that the Register of Qualifications will become the main information platform for qualification centers.
"Anyone who wants to confirm their qualifications, convert their skills, abilities and competences into a certificate of qualification and have the opportunity to officially get a job, will go to the website of the Register and receive information about where there are qualification centers, what the cost of qualification is, what you need to know and to be able to for one or another professional qualification," said the head of the National Qualifications Agency.
