Registration for the 2014 external examination began on January 3, and will continue until March 5. This year, entrants will be able to independently form an application-registration card using a special program that will be posted on websites Ukrainian and regional centers for assessment of the quality of education.
During the external assessment, applicants will take tests in 14 subjects: Ukrainian language and literature (the most popular), mathematics, history of Ukraine, Russian language, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, English, German, French, Spanish, and world literature. An applicant can choose no more than 4 subjects to take tests.

Innovations of ZNO-2014:
This year, the history of Ukraine and mathematics tests will be held in one session instead of two. In addition, in accordance with the procedure for conducting an external independent assessment in 2014, during the test, the applicant is prohibited from having with him not only communication devices, devices for reading, processing, saving and reproducing information, printed and handwritten materials that are not provided for by the testing procedure , as well as their separate elements, which may be components of relevant technical means or devices. Applicants who do not agree with the decisions of the regulatory commissions of the regional centers for the assessment of the quality of education may appeal them by submitting a corresponding application to the Ukrainian Center for the Assessment of the Quality of Education within 7 working days.
