A meeting of the government headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk took place today, the main topic of which was preparation for the academic year.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that work is already underway to restore schools in Slovyansk and other liberated cities in eastern Ukraine.

"But in addition to Slavyansk and the east, there is also all of Ukraine. All children must go to school, the educational process must begin. The same applies to higher educational institutions," Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded.

In order to solve all the necessary issues, the Head of the Government instructed the Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Sych and the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiyev Kvit to organize a public conference call with the heads of regions, to which the heads of higher educational institutions will be invited to participate.
