Soon, on May 8, the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation will be celebrated in Ukraine for the second time. Last year, a new tradition of celebrating May 8 and 9 in the European spirit of memory and reconciliation under the slogan "1939-1945. We remember. We are winning."

Also, on May 9, Victory over Nazism in Europe Day will be celebrated in Ukraine.

So, I would like to congratulate you on Victory Day! This day was the dream of millions of people, the hope they lived and fought for. We would like to wish you a peaceful, happy, long life, goodness, prosperity and patriotism!

The invaluable feat of the heroes will never be forgotten, because thanks to their sacrifices, people have a unique opportunity to live, build the future, and make choices. Having protected the world from the overwhelming burdens of fascism, the hero warriors deprived themselves of a lot that no one can ever compensate. Accept our boundless love and boundless respect.
