The President of Ukraine signed a law exempting graduates from taking the mandatory final state certification this academic year.
The relevant draft law was adopted by the parliament on April 13.
Exempting general secondary education graduates from school exams is expected to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19 among schoolchildren.
At the same time, students will have the right to pass a final assessment, in particular, in the form of an external independent assessment.
All stages of testing will take place on schedule, regardless of the level of epidemic danger in the regions of Ukraine.
