The ranking of the best higher education institutions in the world was published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). As many as six Ukrainian higher education institutions got into it, among which Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University took the highest position, sharing 421-430 places with other universities.
The distribution of other educational institutions included in the rating was as follows: Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazina took 481-490 places, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute National Technical University took 551-600 places, Sumy State University took 651-700 places, and Donetsk National University and Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute National Technical University close the ranking, occupying undivided positions from 701 to 1000 places .
