Considering that the lists of entrants who received recommendations for admission to state-ordered places will be published a few hours later than the scheduled time - at 18:00 - the work of the admissions commissions will be extended until 20:00. This is stated in the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to the heads of higher educational institutions dated August 1, 2017.

"The Ministry of Education and Culture receives numerous appeals from applicants who wish to submit original documents to higher education institutions immediately after the publication of the lists recommended for enrollment. That is why we appealed to the heads of higher education institutions to extend the work of the admission commissions until 8:00 p.m. - so applicants will have the opportunity to submit their documents already today," said Oleg Sharov, director of the higher education department of the MES.

We would like to remind you that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will publish lists of applicants who have received recommendations for admission to state-ordered places at 18:00 on August 1, 2017.

This decision was made due to the application of admissions committees of higher education institutions with a request to grant them additional time to complete the verification of the correctness of their calculation of the rural coefficient (SC).

At the end of last week, during the verification of the Ministry of Education and Culture, which took place as the final stage of checking the reliability of the data of applicants, mass cases of unjustified assignment of higher education institutions by the admissions commissions of this coefficient were discovered.
